SETTING THE TIME
a.) Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
b.) Turn the crown to set hour and minute hands.
c.) When the crown is pushed back to the normal position, the small second hand begins to run.
SETTING THE DATE
a.) Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
b.) Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the date.
*If the date is set between the hours of around 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not change the following day.
c.) After the date has been set, push the crown back to the normal position.
WATCH CARE AND WARRANTY
CLEANING
Please use of a clean, lint free cloth with warm water and if required a mild detergent diluted in water to remove any dirt from the case. To clean the lens, please use a clean chamois cloth. Avoid submerging the watch case in water.
WATER RESISTANCE
This watch is designed to withstand everyday use and has a 3ATM water resistance rating. Exposure to high humidity and light rain showers are acceptable, however you should avoid wearing the watch whilst showering, swimming, diving or during any other activity where it may be subjected to abnormal water pressures or environments where abnormal heat and moisture are present (i.e.,βSaunasβ or βHot Tubsβ). This combination may have a negative impact on the seals and gaskets of the timepiece.
CONDENSATION
If your timepiece experiences a sudden change in temperature or pressure, a slight condensation may appear under the crystal of your watch. This mist will disappear by itself and will not affect the functioning of your timepiece. If the condensation persists, please contact the place of purchase.
LEATHER BRACELETS
Your leather bracelet is made from naturally tanned calf leather, which over time will develop an inherent, natural patina that improves with age. Nevertheless, we suggest you limit the bracelets expose to moisture and avoid complete submersion into water, which will significantly deteriorate the quality and feel of the bracelet. When a replacement bracelet is required, please contact your local authorized watch store, refer to the Carriage Hill & Co. www.carriagehillco.comΒ for information on replacements and fitting.
BATTERY
Your timepieceβs power source is a Japan made cell, (SILVER OXIDE SR927W or equivalent) which has an estimated lifespan of approximately 36 months. When your battery requires replacing, please contact your local authorized watch store, or refer to www.carriagehillco.comΒ for information on battery replacement. Please protect the environment and dispose of the battery properly.
GUARANTEE
This Carriage Hill & Co. watch is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two years from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a hardware defect arises within the warranty period, please refer to www.carriagehillco.comΒ for information on the repair procedure for your particular timepiece.
